moosebutter news and musings

Tim Tim - Thu, 19 Jan 2006 9:39 pm

Thank you, ICCA-ers

Another great time at the ICCA in Provo - five great groups competed, and shined forth with grandeur in spite of our bizarre introductions.

Especially fun to meet the fantastic folks from SoCal (that's how the cool people say "Southern Canada," where USC is). Smart, talented, fun people. Hope to see you again soon!

Lots of people asked about our upcoming shows - make sure to check the shows page, we're back in Utah in March.

To all the great audience members in Springville:

Raise the moose!

Fun shows! Screaming, dancing, crazy stuff, encores, hoorah! Thanks for the fun. May your holidays be bright and lovely, and may you have many laughs and many happy times!

To all the great audience members in Boulder:

WOW that was fun. Thanks for helping us have such a good time! There were great moments both nights at the Nomad Theatre. We're working to get pictures and video of some of those for you to enjoy. Meanwhile, please write in the guestbook and tell us what you liked best!

A few more public shows coming up this year - hope to see you there!

stuff, stuff, stuffy stuff

I hate it when the microwave tray gets off the track and bangs around so you think your beef stew is exploding when in fact it's just the tray bumping.

Free Harry Potter song!

We're in a show lull November... ooooh, but look out, here comes great holiday shows in December!

Also, more sausage over here, please. No, no ice. Thanks.

AND, in what is becoming an annual event, we are proud to announce that WE DON'T HAVE A CHRISTMAS CD FOR RELEASE YET AGAIN. We really did have the best intentions of doing it, honest. Next year... we intend... no promises, we've broken enough of those. But we SWEAR we will think really really hard about getting it out for next year... yea.

news from the road III

So, we finished up the tour... Tim left back for Colorado and still isn't caught up on homework; Ricky, the fine bass singer from Vocal Point (BYU, Provo) joined up with the others to finish out the shows.

Did I ever mention that Weston hit some girl in the mouth with his microphone?

Rest of the shows went great - fun, wild, wacky, blah blah blah. Riverton, WY. Blah.
